Miss April 1960 Playmate of the Year 1961 Pittsburghian Linda was discovered when her model agency sent her to photographer Mario Casilli for a test shoot. (Contrary to her Playmate copy, she says she has no memory of ever collecting antiques.) She worked as a Bunny in Chicago through her tenure as the second Playmate of the Year to 1965, when she married, moved to California and raised six sons, whom she says are very proud of their mother. Now back in Chicago and working in real estate, she calls her Playboy experience "the highlight of my life." In a Playboy Cyber Club chat, Linda described her days at the Chicago Mansion: "I loved it. I stayed in the Playmate dorms. There were probably about five to ten girls coming and going all the time. The Chicago Mansion was much more the party Mansion, whereas the L.A. Mansion now is more family-like. They were both gorgeous, but the Chicago Mansion had a ballroom and an indoor pool. And there was a fire pole that you could slide down to get into the bar. That was where you could see below the water level of the pool and hang out watching people swim and having a few drinks. You could take the stairs, but we'd rather slide down the pole!"
