It occurred to me today that not many people of today's younger generation really know the reasons behind the breakup of The Beatles.
Here they are and these are documented in several books:

1. Their Manager, friend and the man who discovered them, Brian Epstein, died of an accidental drug overdose.
2. The Beatles tried to run their own company which they had named Apple. They failed.
3. John, George and Ringo wanted Allen Klein as their manager.
4. Paul wanted his future father in law and brother in law of Eastman and Eastman to run Beatles Management because he didn't trust Klein.
5. Paul was out-voted which lead to his resentment of Klein and the other three.
6. John wanted to make records with Yoko. When he brought her to the studio, it lead to tension with the other three.
7. George wanted more of his music and songs on the Beatles albums and wanted more of a say in the group.
8. Ringo wanted to do a solo album and also pursue his acting carreer.
9. Ringo left, thinking that he wasn't doing a good job and was tired of the bickering but later returned.
10. George Martin departed because of all the in fighting and disagreements.
11. John left to do an album called "Plastic Ono Band" with Yoko and later returned to record Abbey Road.
12. George left during the filming of "Let It Be" but returned after 3 days.
13. Paul records "McCartney".
14. The Beatles record "Abbey Road". "Let It Be" is shelved".
15. Paul wants to sue Klein but can't do so without suing the other three.
16. John, George, Ringo and Klein want "Abbey Road" released.
17. Paul wants "McCartney released.
18. After Paul is outvoted and it is decided the "Abbey Road" will be released first, Paul throws Ringo out of his house and decides to sue Klein, John, George, Ringo and Apple to end the Beatles partnership.
19. The Beatles record as a group for the last time on August 20, 1969 for "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" from "Abbey Road".
20. Paul begins legal procedures to end the Beatles partnership on December 30, 1970.
21. John, George and Ringo sue Allen Klein.
22. Ruling in favor of Paul McCartney, the Judge declares the Beatles partnership "officially desolved" on January 9, 1975.
